In 1958, two families came together at the marriage of Mary and Dean in Worthington, Minnesota. This forever joined family names going into the future and linking the past. This connection is through their parents where we find we are bonded by Dean’s parents - Dale Correll and Mildred (Millie) Bowman - and Mary’s parents - Sievert (Sam ) Koning and Jennetje (Jennie) Koster. This website effort is dedicated to all the Cousins that link to the Bowman, Correll, Koning and Koster surname. It does not matter if you are a first, second, third or more cousin, or a friend of these cousins, I (Dennis Correll) hope you find yourself connected to the content on these pages.

This effort is dedicated to bringing to life our family stories both past and present, and hopefully you (our cousins) share your stories especially of the past for all to enjoy. If you say at least once “I didn’t know that” then this website did its job. I know there are seeds of history rooted in the family names of our grandparents and any surname that is linked through a bond of marriage or friendship which expands beyond our grandparents and the hundreds of cousins by way of Dale’s, Millie’s, Jennie’s and Sam’s brothers and sisters. Older or younger, we are all cousins.

At Grandma Jennie’s funeral several years ago, our cousin Jay asked me why I thought we seldom see each other especially when it seemed like we spent a lot of time together as kids. I had no answer. I guess life happened and it took all of us down our separate paths. Time to reconnect. Enjoy.

Come see their stories and make your connection to them.
